What is the in between?
We go through life constantly challenging ourselves. Day after day nothing is quite good enough. How many times do we question what we are doing. When have we truly taken a stand for something that we believe in to only find out that we only did it just to prove we could do it? On the other hand how many times have we made that same stand just to find out that we didn't really know which side we truly stood on.
Questioning what we do is very natural. We do it all the time. It is one of the most important things that we do that gives us meaning. If we didn't we would become a "Waldon Two" society where everything we did was already mapped out for us . We would be a society of the lifeless. Questioning is necessary because of the defining properties that is involved with it. We define who we are by the questions that we ask ourselves.
The hardest thing that we will ever do in our lifetime is to become who we are. If you are a spiritual person you believe that your life is predestined. That the supreme being has a purpose for us all. That may be true, but there is also alternates that plays a part in everything. That is why the ability to question ourselves is so important. When we are laid to rest on our tombstone they will have our name, and a nice saying or scripture. Some will have them and some will not, but they will all have the year we were born accompanied with a dash, and the year that we past on. The dash is our in between. That is the sum of our life. The beginning and the end are definite. It is going to happen no matter what, but the dash is what we have control over. We question because we want our in between to mean something. There is nothing more gratifying than accomplishing something with a smile on your face. There is nothing like waking up everyday knowing that you are about to do something that you love to do. There is nothing like feeling that you have made a difference. There is nothing like meaning. Does your dash have meaning yet? Always remember to work on your in between everyday!

Kendall Hon, welcome again buddy but these posts your making, while very thoughtful are best kept for producing Hubs. Posting in the forum to start a thread usually is shorter than 2 paragraphs.
If you can, try not to open any more threads with this much information and also doesn't invite any form conversation. I mean this in the kindest way.
If you hub them, I'll sure come read them, but not here ok?
We're glad your here nevertheless
The "in-between" is suppose to have purpose. What meaning that purpose has is what matters.
If the action is honest, then humanity benefits.
If the action is dishonest, then humanity suffers.
The destruction or suffering of another is healed through the hands of those who are honest.
With that said, you can see why there are hundreds of millions of starving families, all around the globe.
There are too many people being dishonest and selfish. Those who are selfish do more damage than they themselves ever realize.
Hey Cagsil, I guess he got Lyrics messages and has a couple of hubs up now. I went and fanned and invited him to the Hub Tribe is Forming thread to introduce himself. As his name appears to rhyme with mine it seemed only fitting, that I do the inviting.
He has quite a gentle soul.
Cagsil babe, relax man, holy cow, is that really necessary

Is sex more powerful than GOD?From my life learning's, it looks like sex wins. I have seen devoted Christians cheat, multiple partners. I thought this was all forbidden according to GOD so to me sex is more powerful.

I have always been a large proponent of questioning everything, and believe it is a needed exercise. I concur with Socrates that the unexamined life is not worth living. What is your opinion and why?

Last night, I came across a paragraph in the very first page of a book titled "Why Does The World Exist?" by Jim Holt, which puzzled me for hours. I wrote a Hub about it, which you can find here: http://kfusha.hubpages.com/hub/If-There … -ForbiddenBut now I am interested in hearing...

I have a basic idea as to what I am, a human being with all of the working parts. But what is this "I", which resides within? Am I my name, my job or my title? I know that everything I see is an electrochemical response to light entering my eyes and that every feeling likewise. But who is...

Can YOU read between the lines? Do you understand what is actually been said when you read something?A few days ago, I wrote a post entitled, “Your freedom comes at my expense” and gave three examples. At the end of each example, I asked the question, “Is he right?”Virtually everybody who responded...

I think the barrier between men and happiness is fear and nothing else. Are you agree with me?
