I think it is because nobody raids the freezer for a midnight snack, only the fridge. smile

So to stop the midnight raider would you steal the light bulb?

Or you could put a padlock on the fridge door smile and hide the key in the freezer.

I have to admit to being a midnight fridge raider. Not sure about the freezer light, I am usually too hungry to thaw anything. smile I just raid the fridge.

earnesthub, the fridge has fewer obstacles, such as the need for a microwave, etc.  So I'm now going with your theory.  Thaw something in the middle of the nite?  INSANITY!!! smile

Yep crazy! I have enough trouble finding the fridge at midnight, without having to delve in the freezer. smile

I spent hours last night trying to determine if the light goes off when I close the fridge door! smile

You got us to go look in our freezer, didn't you? lol

Although I haven't looked yet, I know there's a light in my freezer.

I just looked, it's there shining brightly.
