Who is the best - The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Bob Dylan, Elvis, Sinatra or MJ?

You must have heard that all of them were at the top of the music industry during their heyday. So here is the real question. Who do you think is the best of them all?

It's hard to say who is "the best" because a lot depends on the mood someone is in especially if they listen to a wide variety of music.
However if I could only see one act live and in person I would have to flip a coin between Elvis and MJ in their prime. I'd give MJ a slight edge only because there is likely to be a higher production value with regard to staging. However it's a can't lose scenario either way.

I'm a lifelong KISS fanboy, so naturally I'm tempted to vote for them... but in the hard rock arena, at least, even KISS bows down to Led Zeppelin, who were (and still are) far more influential... so they get the nod instead.

Who is the best~~ is entirely a matter of taste in music and personal opinion.....wouldn't you say?
Actually mastergreen, I'd have to say I enjoy every one of these musical geniuses.....and listen to them, as dashing noted, according to my mood.

All music (with the exception of clearly obvious garbage) are such  important works of art, created to delight and/or otherwise move us in some emotional direction.  I would not want to imagine a world without music.

Of those you have listed, all are living (and deceased) legends without question.

It's rather curious I think that I am able to really enjoy the music of an artist I don't particularly "like" as a personality.  It's because what they do, despite who they are is so overwhelmingly positive....

    Interesting question.  They're all outstanding!

The Beatles were one of a kind. I remembered their music as crossing 4 or 5 niches and still sounding fresh. Also had some of the greatest melodies and sounds.

It's no wonder they became famous. Thanks for commenting.
