When will the Twilight series addiction end?
I wish for just one day, that no one refered to the Twilight series. Atleast Harry Potter didn't take a classic horror genre and turn it into mush. How can you take vampires and werewolves and turn them into cute lovable creatures that have highschool crushes?
When will this torture end?
Considering the second movie is just about to be released and there are four books, I don't see it ending for a good long while. At least a couple more years. The flurry will probably simmer down after Christmas merchandising and then reappear when the next movie is releasing.
As another Twilight addict I think first answer is why are we addicted to such a great story. Life can sometimes be boring right? We love different even and especially when it has to do with something we can't have, a vampire. Not just any vampire but a gorgeous one that is fasinated by the human life. When will this end of never maybe diminish a little but it's like Harry Potter a theme park in the making where all age groups will and can enjoy such a trend.
Till the blood runs dry? I would think it is heading that way, with other vampire type series starting. I recently took a writing class and the professor begged us on several occasions to NOT write a vampire story! ha! I guess she had her fill and is not an addict. I may be a rarity in the country, but I've not seen any of the Twilight series nor read the books.
