Post in here, movies which in your opinion deserved an Oscar, but was denied it by the Academy. And tell us why you think it deserved an Oscar as well. One movie per post.
Laagan. is the best movie. This was denied because its foreign movie. This was against english people. There were some little mistake done by director.
Ok, here's a few selections - Shawshank Redemption for Best Picture, Cinematography, Best Actor and Directing, Sin City best Actor in a Supporting Role (Mickey Rourke), Best Special Effects, Original Screenplay, 300 - best Special effects.
Difficult to chose just one..."Billy Jack"...back in the day...because of its' message. I think it is an important one for these times. Let's have peace and now...and start getting along better...before someone has to start kicking serious butt around here!

I think Martin Scorsese's best movies is Raging Bull.
It should have won Best Picture of 1980.
