My favourite secret pleasure movie is Grease. Does anyone want to step up and tell what theirs is?
Almost my full library of movies consist of Man movies, rocky, goodfellas, etc ... But people are always baffled when they see I have Grease in their also. Everyone has a movie that does not does not fit in with their perceived taste of movies, whats yours?
Mine is "Grendel, Grendel, Grendel" a musical version of Beowulf (On pirated VHS)
I likewise have all the man movies...loI..I cry at the chick flicks. I really love the Kevin Costner film, Mr. Brookes. But my secret pleasure movie has always been The Incredible Mr. Limpet starring Don Knotts.
I know I shouldn't, but I really like Four Weddings and a Funeral, I think it's hilarious and has a great cast!
Mine has to be leaving Las Vegas. When I'm down, it always makes me feel better about my life. I think it is an interesting take on the human condition.
I suppose the movie 300 could be considered my "secret pleasure movie". I was captivated by the story years ago in my grade 11 Ancient History class, and the movie is my middle son's favourite. I have seen it at least six times. We will curl up on the couch with hot chocolates, turn all the lights off, and we're all set.....we even named our puppy Leonides!
The same son also loves "Under The Tuscan Sun", which is a very unusual choice for a guy who splits his time between football practice and Call of Duty Black Ops......
I like Grease ! but Pretty woman always fascinates me especially the shop scene after she spent her money elsewhere as they were very rude to her !
this is worrying. I can picture us all in a bar drinking and fighting and jeering, and then someone askes who's seen the latest Hugh Grant movie and we are using expressions like 'Oh my God' and 'Oh no he didn't'..Under the Tuscan Sun has Diane Lane in it, so in book thats a valid reason for watching it.
Mr Limpet sounds like a nuts movie, I must watch it.
Leaving Las Vegas is too depressing.
Four weddings you should be ashamed of yourself, ha ha.
Grendel on pirate VHS. That is the funniest secret movie
Grease is my all time FAVORITE movie! I could (and probably have) watched it a gazillion times.
I guess you could say Ghost Ship. I can't stand horror movies, it's the only horror movie I own and I absolutely love it.
How about David Bowie's "Labyrinth," that's a good one. I like the soundtrack to "Grease.".
Oh so many secret pleasure movies... My boyfriend and I both love We Were Soldiers, but also Moulin Rouge, and Mrs. Miniver. I guess our absolute without a doubt favorite is The Notebook, but I am a sucker for Under the Tuscan Sun also.
Buckaroo Banzai with Peter Weller. Oh the cheesiness of it all!
My favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz i found my life to be like Dorthy's when i was young not knowing where i fit in, and in what direction I was going
Storms came and then they went but i managed to get through them and turned out pretty good.
I like the story line of The Wiz with Michael Jackson also and coudl relate more to the character but I like the Wizard of Oz more
Your profile picture is a clue to mine... Eastwood, Van Cleef, Wallach... The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!
Nobody puts Baby in a corner!
Fight harder, huh? I don't see you fighting so hard, Baby. I don't see you running up to daddy telling him I'm your guy.
Dirty Dancing for me. ahhhhhhh! I feel so much better with that off my shoulders!
Dirty Dancing, Grease, and the Lost Boys are my secret pleasure movies!
Maximum Overdrive, even king himself said he was ashamed of it but how can you not love homicidal vehicles and household machinery. Also actually enjoy Moulin Rouge as well which is SO far out of my movie genres but hey it was a damn good movie.
Easily the Breakfast Club:

Practical Magic will always be one of my favorites. It is the perfect girly movie and it's so different from other movies made that year. Sandra Bullock plus Nicole Kidman is just fabulous.

I keep seeing the infomercials for WEN hair products that claim not to contain sulfates. I have heard mixed reviews about the hair system. Some say it leaves their hair feeling greasy while others swear by it. I though about ordering it although they want to keep resending the...
