If you had to choose one genre of music and the others go extinct (!) what would it be ?
Rock and Roll Baby. That was too short so let me expound on it a bit. Rock and Roll has been here a while, has many different messages including teaching morals to our children to the outright dispicible sex and drugs. It spans a wide range of topics and ages and will be here for a very long time to come.
Rock music in all it's variations - pop-rock, soft-rock, hard-rock, rock'n'roll, prog-rock, punk rock, heavy metal, country-rock, etc., etc., etc. ...
Anything that featured a guitar. Everything else could go jump and I don't think would be missed. Not around here anyway.
Just about anything but opera and broadway show tunes, they're both so pretentious!!
Dubstep. I have been fascinated with this genre as of late.
