Help Me Out Here...Are White Men Really Like That...?

   I mean, really? I mentioned my baby cousin (not really a baby) is with me, and she's been watching these awfully corny movies with Jennifer Aniston and Matthew McConaughey and stuff (She wont watching any of mine, she's stubborn) in them...to be honest with you, I mean, to be perfectly honest with you - those kinda movies make me wanna PUKE my guts out!!!!
   
   Now, here's what I'm talking about - I'm talking about those kinda  movies, where they always paint white guys to be these wimps, who cant stand up to any woman, and who always stutter like madmen whenever they meet a girl they like...guys who would obsess over a girl in a really terrifically pathetic way and all...I cant even explain it...and another thing is, white women in the movies are way smarter and tougher than white men, I mean, like a gazillion times stronger and smarter...both emotionally and psychologically and all...Here's in this movie (Gawd! I hate my cousin, lol) where the girl just sits her boyfriend down, and tells him, that he's not adventurous, and that he's not 'fiery' or passionate about anything (Which really means, he aint any good in the hay, cos in the next scene, she's doing crazy 'acrobatics' with some muscle-bound trainer) and then she dumps him, she easily moves on with her life, and goes in this wild wuchmacallit - sexual-liberation spree, where she 'discovers' herself and all that bull...then my homeboy here, wallows in self-pity and wont even take a bath, or go to work or do anything, just sit at home, watching old romantic movies and listening to 70s blues and crying his eyes out! GAWD, SIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCKKKKKKKEEEEENNNNIIIINNNNGGG!!!! and their best friends are always trying to get them to go out, but they wont budge, and when they eventually do, they never wanna date anyone else, even if a really gorgeous girl hits on them at the club, they start telling the girl about how wonderful their ex was, GEEZ!!!
   
   Another thing else, Like in this movie, right, this guy likes this girl right, but he doesnt have the minerals to say it, right, so keeps himself like the girl's best friend or something pathetic like that, but pay his friend to actually go out with the girl and piss her off, so she could like appreciate him more of something...and is this Jason Biggs guy, that guy is so pathetic in movies...Gawd, a disgrace to manhood! I know all white men cannot be like this, as I have some friends, and they're NO WAY LIKE THAT! But these friends of mine, have lived in Nigeria for long, so maybe thats different. However, Indulge, dont get sensitive or anything...Please, I seriously do not want to believe that most white men are like this...I mean, wimps, nervous,un-manly, and such klutz, especially when they're around gorgeous women and all...I mean, please TALK TO ME...Cos honestly, hollywood aint painting white-men in a positive light...doesnt that bother you guys, I know I would...

      Yeah, whatever happened to all the good movies about men beating and intimidating women then keeping them oppressed and fearful at home while the 'real' man goes out and frequents prostitutes so he can bring STDs home and force his domestic servant to contract them? They just don't make 'em like that anymore.

            hia question is the most racist comment i have seen in a long long time, and i don't understand why it is even posted.  it is of course racist if anyone mentions any colour in a derogeratory manner... even if it is done in jest, it is not funny

   I think you've been watching too many "chic flics." Yes a certain type of women finds this attractive in a man. Or finds the situation attractive. But I don't believe it is race-based.

         Personally I do not go around talking about a person's race, but at the same time I am not upset if someone else does.  Maybe they just do not really know any better you see, and do not realize it may be offensive.  I just see this thread as going in a negative direction, and not one fiery intended.  We can all calm down a bit here.

   These movies are based on a romantic story.  Most of them are hokey, and... oh so corny.  The ones I really hate are the ones where a small piece of miscommunication leads to mayhem.  No one is really like that.  Thank God, no one is really like that.

    I agree with BadCompany99 that there is a double standard here and most other places.
    
    Other races are allowed to decry and insult white people as seen in this topic. Women can complain and write about men in ways men would never be able to about women.
    
    I have never understood it and never agreed with it, but I see it happening in the media every day.
