One that does the trick for me is "Hey Jude", particularly the ending big_smile

Everyday - Buddy Holiday.   That should do the trick.

    Guys Like Me- Eric Church
I normally don't like country, but this song always calms me down. Story of my life.

What kind of sad?  Did someone pass away or did someone do something to cause hurt feelings?  I always listen to Mariah Carey - Hero when I need a boost, but its more of a self confidence song. Another one that could bring comfort is Faith Hill - I'll Be There.

When I'm feeling sad or when I'm having a bad day, I sing "Tomorrow" (Annie)

    The sun'll come out
    Bet your bottom dollar
    That tomorrow
    There'll be sun!

    Just thinkin' about
    Clears away the cobwebs,
    And the sorrow
    'Til there's none!

    When I'm stuck a day
    That's gray,
    And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
    And Grin,
    And Say,

    The sun'll come out
    So ya gotta hang on
    'Til tomorrow
    Come what may
    Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
    I love ya Tomorrow!
    You're always
    A day
    A way!

I like the country and western song, "Me and Bobby McGee."   It's got the beat and the lyrics.

Winter, spring, summer or fall, all you got to do is call
You've got a friend - either Carol King or James Taylor version

I like "Down Under" by Men At Work, and it's even better if I either watch the MTV video or the performance at the closing ceremonies of the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. It's such a quirky song that my spirits always always always improve.
