Which genre or era of music will make you dance? Why?
I grew up in the late 80s so I know a few moves. Madonna, MJ and even Bobby Brown can make me get up and groove. I did some mean roger rabbits, running man back then. Hammertime! lol
Current dub step or techno will make me dance. Going to DEMF in a couple weeks actually.
i'm in a wheelchair so nothing can make me dance. but i enjoy greatly the music of the '60's and '70's. in fact, i, being an old guy, can tolerate very little music done after the '70's. there are a few exceptions, of course, but not many.
Almost anything! Except chamber music.
If it can be danced to, I'll dance to it - I've studied ballet, jazz, flamenco, bellydance and ballroom as well as grooving at the disco, so I'm pretty flexible.
The one thing that I absolutely, positively can never sit down to is Nutbush City Limits. I've been known to sprint across a ballroom to get to the dancefloor in time for the start of that one!
