True Grit, 2010 version.  It was easy to follow, because I watched the 1969 version with John Wayne a few months ago, so I remembered the plot.  I did a hub on the 1969 version.  I usually don't watch re-makes but I was just curious this time.

The last movie I watched was Country Strong. I thought the actors were amazing in this movie. Gwenyth Paltrow was great in portraying a role of a country singer who battles with alcoholism, among other things. She sounds amazing singing country and I am sure she sounds great singing other genres as well. She proved it on Glee. I think she should put out a country album, or at least an album with some country songs on it.

Confessions of a Shopaholic, with Isla Fisher. She's a colorful quirky, shopaholic! It might appear as if it's just another "chick flick" upon the name and how it starts out. But when she tries to land a job at her favorite fashion magazine, she ends up working for the "money magazine." Not her choice, but trying to work her way up! While working for the money magazine she realizes that her shopping habits are not only stealing her ability to find true love, but she's replacing love with items she cannot afford! After being hired to write for the money magazine, she writes a story "The Girl in the Green Scarf" that makes her realize that is NOT affordable or wise shopping. Don't want to plot spoil, so even men who like to shop, can learn from this movie how to keep a colorful personality as well as find a love that loves you back!

Just saw X-Men First Class. It was better than I thought it would be when I first heard they were going to make it. I recommend to anyone.

The last movie I watched was "Frozen" which I was expecting to be really ridiculous but because I had such low expectations, it wasn't actually as bad as I'd thought it might be.

I watched "Insidious" a few days ago. It has a fabulous first half and an average second half. But, on a whole, watching this movie was a wonderful experience. If you love horror movies, you will love Insidious for sure.
