Tebowing - a fad like planking?
Is it mocking QB Tebow's faith? Or is this a good thing?
I think we are missing the underlying message here. If there is a God, he/she/it obviously doesn't care about football or Tebow would have been endowed with a better arm...and perhaps talent. But hey, he makes more than me. If it takes a little bowing every now and again to bank millions of dollars, I'd do it too.
As for the question of mockery, yes, it is absolutely mocking his faith. But, the days of the Crusades and Inquisition are long gone so they can feel fre to make fun of it all they want. No one is going to get thrown into an Iron Maiden.
I think it probably is a fad and I also think it is mocking Tim's faith. I am proud of him that he openly displays his faith. That takes maturity and courage. So let the mockers go on with it, won't affect Tim's faith in any way, nor his public displays of his faith. His is a great story, I saw it on TV once.
