What celebrities have the most appealing speaking voices?
What constitutes a beautiful speaking voice? Do we gravitate to actors because of their voices? Who are the best trainers for a lovely spoken voice. Are there online classes?
Definitely Morgan Freeman. Love his voice. I know there are voice lessons online, but those are for singing. Not sure if there are any for speaking.
This is a question of choice, one man's meat is another man's poison. I would prefer Akon, mariah carey, luther vanderous, dolly parton.I think there is voice training online
I'm speaking specifically about women's SPEAKING voices. In the 50's, I think it was critical for a woman actor to have a lovely voice. The voice of some women in Hollywood at the present time are grating and, I think, subconsciously affect their popularity. I noticed that someone must be couching Courtney Cox because there is a difference lately for the better. It might have to do with insecurity. Ellen Pompeo has a lovely speaking; Katherine Heigel as well. Comedians seem to be able to get away with, or perhaps be enhanced by, less beautiful voices than dramatic actors.
Dennis Haysbert. He just sounds like he means every word he says..
Sam Elliott, hands down. His voice is wonderful and is used for many commercials as well as for his roles in movies. He was lucky to be born with such a great voice!
John Hurt has a brilliant voice. Also Patrick Stewart.
