How do you prepare for an Audition?
Do you try and dress appropriate to the production and how far do you go? Do you try and strike the balance of not too much effort with just the right amount of effort and how much consideration do you pay to the opinion of the stage manager running the auditions (they talk to the casting director you know)!
Prepare for an audition? Maybe that's what I've been doing wrong?
I tend to just read the script once through and the go in and read. I would like to start really getting it, but I'm always awkward at auditions that just getting up to read is the challenge.

Ok, so I just got back from an audition from church, and honestly I sucked so bad. I know that I can sing, heck I'm a song writer for goodness sakes. But auditions for me are just like test. My mind goes blank. I was in a great environment, but I still stood on stage shaking...
