What is the average price of a movie ticket in your country?

In my area, movie tickets usually range between $8-13, depending on the time and day (I'm from the US).
Texas, USA. For the first showing of the day, $5.50. For just a normal ticket, $9.00.
In Orlando a regular matinee ticket is $8.50. 3D movies are $13.00. Evening movies are $11.00. I go to the matinee movies once a week.
In my city Austin, US. It's $7.00 or depend on different place!
I am from india. Regarding the movie ticket, it is roughly one dollar per ticket.
