Why do many young women who should know better decide to participate in quite risque
activities with full knowledge of intending to be in the public eye careerwise, only later to blame others for such activities instead of taking responsibilities for their actions? Many beauty contestant winners posed in magazines, lying about such activities in beauty magazines; however, when such things are unearthed, they blame the magazine instead of themselves for participating in such activities. They were adults and knew better!
Maybe they get caught up in the fast life and fame. Then when it all takes off they realize it's too late. That's all they ever wanted and now their past comes back to haunt them.I am sure they go through a lot of disappointments and rejection along the way.The different contests can be expensive and time consuming. It is sad to finally lose everything for not thinking or making wrong choices.Too much pressure and so much competition.Good luck to all those who try and never make it.
Just women?? Are men not capable of making whopper-sized indiscrections and bad judgment calls? Or are there still backwoods mountain folk who abide by some ridiculous gender-role double-standard?
I agree. Our young men and women today are quite vulnerable to this.
Mostly just women. Men are rarely ever held to the same expectations and standards as women and are quickly defended by society. It's terrible and I sadly don't see it changing anytime soon.
Most people believe everything they hear from their peers and the media. Also, the past few generations have not been taught basic common sense or wisdom. They don't understand consequences. One of the disadvantages of growing up in a very prosperous society where few do any sort of deep thinking, is that the wisdom of forebears is lost.
Many young women, and men as well, do this because they are lured to trying what fame could be all about and believing in their capacity of an edge over others push them to go for the quest. When worst things happen, it would be too late to realize. I think this is among where our young people today need the most guidance.
Short answer: many people are stupid, ignorant, and foolish, they prefer to blame others for their issues than take responsibility and accept that the problems in their lives are 99% their fault.
My synopsis, they KNEW what they are doing and want to do it; however, they whine WHEN THEY ARE CAUGHT-boo hoo!
I believe that they just become flustered and too embarrassed to admit their indiscretions. It is always easier to blame someone else than to take responsibility. It is the same with many different situations. That is not to say that they may have somewhat justifiable reasons for doing what they did. It is my own personal belief that we shouldn't delve in other people's past so much and question what they've done. We all have skeletons in our closet and deserve to have some of them stay there.

Recently I have been asking about existing ministries that help women excons and haven't found anything I am able to contribute to. So my idea is to reach young women at risk at our local youth center. I have met with some other artists in the area and we would like to offer activities at the high...

Why is it that some women over 40 crave sex even more than when they were younger?

I am wondering what you think of beauty pageants as they relate to women's rights and feminism. Do they demean women or are they a great confidence builder? Do they teach women to do good things, as the winners are required to do, or is it simply a false front put on for the glory of winning?I'm...
