What are your preparations for a zombie apocalypse?

So zombies MIGHT have existed already or will exist in the NEAR future. My preparations are: 1. always wearing shoes/comfortable footwear, 2.always bringing food, penlight and band-aids smile

Secure my home from intruders, stock my home with canned goods, have my truck filled with fuel, have plenty of ammunition for my guns, keep a bag packed incase I have to leave in a hurry, first aid kit on hand, stock up on water and matches and fuel for my generator. I'm sure I'm leaving a few things out.

First I'll tell you what I am not going to do. When the Zombie Apocalypse happens I am not going to go to places like Wall-Mart to stock up. Why, too many people and opportunities to be attacked. This being said I before hand I will buy non perishable foods, lots of ammunition and low caliber weapons with silencer's, and a tent. With this I will camp out on my roof for awhile so I can scope out the surrounding area and make judgements based on if and when I should move. I will also have prepared possible places to huddle down, especially since there is a National Guard base right across the street from me, so if need be there may be survivors in there and we can set up base.
