I think a good plan is to make lists of things. Any web page that is "The Top Five...."...of whatever..generally seems to do well.
You don't likely want to make "Top Ten Best...." hubpages, and my reasoning is...internet readers, in my experience, have short attention spans.
So, just think of something you know a lot about...and think of how you can make a terrific "Top Five Best Whateveritis" hub for it.
I love sports and religion but I believe if you write on a wide variety of subjects you can't go wrong.
The topics that online readers find interesting is limited only by the ability and energy of the online content providers. Judging by the wide variety of material on HubPages, virtually everything is of interest to someone.
I like lists.
And hubs about books, traveling, exercise and health. And psychology and how to save money.
I can't say I know exactly what online readers find entertaining or not but if I am to speak for myself, then I will say that the following will always make an interesting reading for me any day any time online:
1. Relationship matters
2. Conspiracy Theories
4. Money making ideas
5. Personal Development
And of course, the last but will never be the least...
i love anything with food, beverages and family parenting. I am a fanatic about baking. I also love to watch korean dramas and movies. Any good recommendations?
Entertainment is always big. TV shows, movies, stars.
Lists are also popular. We like the organized, easy to read format and they tend to hold our attention span better than an article.

Iv'd recently had two articles denied from Owlcation. The first is a book review (I read on another forum that that's where book reviews should be submitted, although it doesn't make sense to me). The second is a photo...

Hello All, I have read the FAQ's and other help areas of HubPages, including many topics from the learning center, but, from what I've found so far, it seems like a lot of talking around the question, but not really,...
