Would Taylor Swift have done well as a competitor on American Idol?
That is an interesting question! I only watched the first two or three years of idol and don't know how much it has changed. From what I saw of the show she probably would have made it through at least a few rounds because she is very cute and can sing. Her voice isn't super strong but I think her thing is mostly songwriting. Can't blame her for wanting to be the one to perform her own songs.
Aloha friend. (I still can't get used to saying aloha. Lol!)
I think she might have made it through a few rounds. She's very pretty and doesn't have a bad voice although it lacks the power and range I've seen in some of the more successful competitors. I don't think the judges give points for being able to play an instrument either. I think she chose the right path for her career.
