What is your favorite Toni Braxton song?

I was just listening to some Toni Braxton and tried to pick my favorite song from her and ended up making a cover for one of them lol.  What's yours?.... Oh and do you listen to her sister Tamar's music?

I find it difficult to pick a favorite as well, msLarayne. Her album "Breathe Again" is an R&B masterpiece with so many good songs. But if I had to pick from that album it's a tie between "Unbreak My Heart" and "You Mean the World to Me." My next favorite, from the movie "Boomerang" soundtrack, is  "Seven Whole Days." Haven't paid too much attention to Tamar.

Besides the fact that I think Toni Braxton is just absolutely gorgeous and she could sing and sound like a wounded moose and I would still probably enjoy her songs, if I had to pick favorites I would go with "Your making me high", "He wasn't man enough for me" and " Seven whole days"

I Love Me Some Him. That song was dedicated to me once so, hey! That's my favorite by her. Good question...

"How Could An Angel Break My Heart" is one sad but beautiful song.
I also love the beat in "Another Sad Love Song" and the same could be said of her lesser known songs such as "What's Good" and "Midnite"
However if I had to pick just one song to listen to over and over again it would probably be "I Wanna Be Your Baby" from her Libra CD.
It's starts out very slow revealing someone laying all their cards out on the table about what they want; "I'm going to put it out there, lay it on line, and even it breaks my heart I'm giving it a try, not waiting for tomorrow, confessing it today, so baby here it goes, I'm out of time, it's do or die.... I wanna be your baby, won't you be my man..."
It's such a courageous song in that it goes against everything as to how women are taught behave with men. Traditionally they're not suppose be the "first" one to express a desire to be exclusive in a relationship or propose marriage. This is especially true if one is in the "friend zone". She says: "I'm ready to be right or wrong with you, I'm ready for my heart to win or lose, I'm going to give all I've got to you...I wanna be your baby" and the song builds up towards an anthem pitch. Going from fragile to brave to being unashamed and not holding anything back.
Not many women or men for that matter completely bare their souls with one another this way risking the hurt that could come with rejection or simply learning that the feelings aren't mutual. We're all taught to (hold something back). Don't make a fool out of yourself. Love is a gamble and when you hear someone taking such a risk it makes you want to pull for them.

unbreak my heart. I think that song is very powerful and her voice is just incredible. The emotions that comes across while she sings are over the top.

I like "Candlelight" from the first album. Love listening to all of her music!
