Does anyone else think that television stations, have gotten to far from actual entertainment?
I have around 1999 channels and on them we get reruns, talk shows, reality TV. I think when TV first came out it was about movies and sitcoms. It was about going into a moving, living book. What happened entertainment isn't about people arguing and watching how celebrities live. How man people would actually go to the movie theater to see reality TV?
I can't watch TV anymore apart from a select few shows, almost everything is a pointless waste of time.
Yes. Even the channels that are set aside for showing only movies show the same ones three or four days in a row and then those same movies a month later. There are so many great movies and documentaries to choose from, but we're stuck with the same thing over and over again.

Okay, we used to have it, now we don't. It is no surprise that with the repealing of the FD came the rise of talk radio. Now we have certain groups clamoring for its return.Do we let the free market determine what gets on the air?Do we let government dictate what gets on the air?I'm of...

Does anyone else share my hate for sappy movies that always end well?I know it's weird but I actually prefer tragedies. If the movie ends with everyone happy and no one dies I usually hate it.
