Everything been seen or listen chances r high it's an opinion not necessarily a fact. So YouTube is not 100% right/helpful but an overview. Authenticate it before believing it.
Well, everything has a positive and a negative side. YouTube has also some. Always try to take something positive. And the question comes how to take the positive side of something. Think about it. Realize it and then take a decision.
When you are trying to learn how to work with Photoshop. Obviously you tube can help you. On the other hand if you try to learn how to kill a man without being caught, that will be obviously harmful!

Do you link to YouTube videos in your hubs?I'm a bit wary of linking to someone else's content unless they've specifically defined it as Creative Commons and for commercial use. But I've seen lots of great hubs that use YouTube videos that obviously have been generated by others... What's the deal?
