Some of them keeps you in movie
but some scares you and you you start scaring and your interest is going fade
I love horror, but at the same time am desensitized by it. Saw, I guess, is a good suggestion. Also, Japanese guinea pig films for those with a strong stomach.
Even the less 'scary' like Rosemary's Baby, which keeps you guessing, is a good, suspenseful film.
