   To be very frank my favorite film is 3 IDIOTS.

      Mine is XANADU! Peope laugh at me everytime they hear that it is my favorite. I just love the music by ELO- Electric Light Orchestra. Olivia Newton John was incredible back then and it was my idol Gene Kelly's last movie.
      
      Everytime I watch it I feel like I'm little all over again. I have watched it so much that my 16 year old daughter loves it too. Everytime they give it we watch it together or I just pop my DVD. We sing along to all of  the songs...
      
      When my husband and I lived in NYC he took me to the Broadway show Xanandu as a gift. It was really nice. He said that it was a big sacrifice for him to sit there for 2 hours! LOL. He actually enjoyed the show but will not watch the movie at all.

   I agree with Midnight Oil "Forrest Gump"  the Sound track was brilliant & their were so many important social themes raised in this film !
