Ok it depends on what you consider a nerd really.
When someone uses the term computer nerd it means someone who may be so intellectually advanced in computer skills.
Now there is people who may be advanced at one thing (video games, movie trivia, collectors items) and then be very "held back" (not to be confused with retarded although that basically means to "hold back") from the basic things in life we are accustomed to. For example: in their 40's and stil at home with parents or worse (grandparents) or maybe they never learned to drive a car, never went out with someone of the opposite sex, never dated or kissed or lost their virginity.
Really it depends on who is the one looking at the person. A nerd may be a nerd to someone and not a nerd to someone else. MY OPINION IS NOT TO THINK OF ANYONE AS A NERD, ITS THE CHRISTIAN THING TO DO. :-)
