What household chores are appropriate for children of various ages?
I'd love to see some experienced and organized parents describe the chores they assigned their children beginning at an early age and on into the teens.
Our four-year-old is responsible for feeding the cats after dinner each day. He also picks up his toys and puts them away before going to bed each night. He gets to put a coin from the coin box into his piggy bank for each chore he completes.
cleaning their room, taking out trash, cleaning up after themselves. it helps them in a way of learning responsibilities.
