How bad is it to forget your kids?
Mom and Dad have joint custody - been divorced for 8+ years.
Mom is taking Dad to court for full custody because she wants more money... the ordeal been going on for almost a year now. Pre-trial for final decision is next week.
Mom was supposed to pick kids up today- hasn't shown, hasn't called.
How bad does that look to the courts?
Well it really doesn't look good at all. Your dad would have to speak to his lawyer, Has anyone tried to call her? Does she do this often, all that will have to be told to the attorney, then the judge. because you seem young, you shouldn't be worrying about things like that, I know it can be scary, but enjoy your time as a kid, let the parents worrie about the other stuff.
I hope all works out well for you! Best wishes!!!
If this is a one time thing and she has an excellent excuse it probably won't matter much. However if this can be connected to other behavior which would indicate she's primarily in court for more money and not for custody her credibility will sink.
Absolutely insensitive, I think she is working against herself if she wants full custody. If this can be proved, then it may be easy to established that she is only after money then

This is a little weird saying this, but should I sue my dad beat dad for child support for my baby sister? He is intentionally putting up roadblocks in my Mom's estate case, honestly I think he wants to see what monies goes toward my baby sister. He has lied in the past and continues to lie today....

Should America forgive and forget everyone deserves forgiveness? TLC pulling the plug is justified, because molestation is just plain wrong apology or not?

My son-in-law left my daughter for a girl half his age. He has moved in with his gf but continually sneaks into my daughters house when she is at work or asleep and takes photos of everyone and the house. My grandsons are 11 and 8. They have ADHD and ODD. Every...
