To trust their own thinking.
My children are much older, of course at that age, I too, kept them at close rein.
Be comfortable with who you are, don't try to be something/someone yo u're not.
Somehow my 25 year old daughter managed to learn that lesson on her own, despite watching her mother waste away (for years) with anorexia and alcoholism.
the most important lesson that i could teach to my child is to live life with a purpose...
and to take God as an inspiration in every life undertaking
cause its the only way to live our to the fullest....
