Is it odd to save things from your kids ? What have you saved for your baby's future?
I keep rolls of quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies each year for my kids
I don't think it's odd. I have saved a lot from my childhood for whenever I have kids. (Dr. Seuss books, stuffed animals, etc.)
Cool ! I have kept alot of stuff over the years from my kid's . My oldest will be 14 and I have Kept everything for him old coin's ,stuffed toy's , blankie's ,cards ,and much more stuff.
I don't think its odd at all. From the day my daughters were born, I kept a memory box for each of them. It contains photographs, first shoes, lock of hair, birthday/christmas cards, newspaper from the day they were born, favourite teddy, favourite outfit, first drawing, school report cards, certificates, coins etc, etc! I want them to see all their accomplishments, milestones and to show how much they are loved. When they are older, I plan to give them each their box of treasured memories.
It's not odd at all! I have so many things from my childhood that my mother kept for me, and I love having them.
I keep clothing items that have memories, some b-day cards, a few drawings, hospital bracelets, and a few favorite infant toys. I plan on giving them to my children when they have their own children.
I also have his first paintings dated and with his name on in case I have anymore children.
