The Bible say honor your parents, what does it says about sibling?

How do you cope with a brother, who has nothing good to say about you?

You must love your Brother as yourself.  Jesus requires that we have true love for our parents andiblings.  We must also show Agape Love for all others, including our enemies.

There is alot of fine scripture on this subject.  Try reading Matthew and John thoroughly.

I dealt with an older brother who made fun of me, abused me, and even cost me to lose 99% of my friends. As I got older, I realized, he knew no better. I forgave him, and while we hardly ever talk, we are kind. I know he feels horrible for what he did to me. Pray for him to change. Release him to God. Do all you can and God will do what you can't.

In Matthew 10:34, Jesus was saying to His disciples that the Word, in some cases, would cause division. A son would believe in Jesus, but his father might not. A mother would, her daughter might not. In Matthew 10:37-38, Jesus says: “He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.” You are in the family of Christ once you are saved and that comes above siblings or parents if they go against Jesus and salvation or the Word of God.

I think I read this somewhere that a kid was asked this question and his answer was "Thou shalt not kill."

    1 John 4:20 says:
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

We should love our neighbor, siblings, foes, everybody!  After all God loved us and gave us Jesus.  It's not easy, but required an therefore doable if we commit to God's will and teachings in the Bible.  Thanks.
