What was the last thing you bought for yourself?

As a wife and mother I often only spend money on my family.Sometimes we need to spoil ourselves a little.

Since I am a grandma, I spend a lot of money on my grandchildren and their school projects.  But, I no longer have to take their creature comforts on as my own responsibility.  I bought a new jacket to be worn in the fall before I need to get out the heavy winter weight coat.

A beautiful black handbag. Looks very expensive but isn't at all! I always like to fool people a little bit:-) And I simply can't afford myself a Gucci bag. (Hah! So be it.)

I bought a camouflage  jacket that I have wanted for a year and I really like it! It only cost $20 but it is what I wanted! I do normally always put everyone else 1st so it's nice to get something I want from time to time!

I'm trying to get myself on the property ladder and am slowly getting together things i'll need for my new home

On a recent trip to Marrakech, Morocco I treated myself to some fantastic Moroccan serving bowls that will look great for when I have my first dinner party (when I get a house of course)

In the souks of Marrakech you really have to bargain. I managed to get 4 bowls for just over £10 (approx 15 dollars) down from a price of over £70

Aside from the antibiotics for the strep throat I'm fighting (aren't I a little old for strep throat?), the last thing I bought for myself were jeans and motorcycle boots for my recent motorcycle trip with my husband. All of the above were more necessities than true "wants" though. I did buy some new scented candles... one for fall and one for winter that smells cinnamony and wonderful. Bring on the cold weather... I'm done with the heat in Phoenix!

It has been years since I had done that. It is now always family members come first.

I guess it will have to wait till my children are working before I will think of that.

Hmm.. I don't have any children, so it is easier for me to spoil myself. The last thing I bought for myself was a dress. It was an impulse buy, too. Guilty, guilty.

A Fossil reissue vintage handbag.  My kids are grown so I can do it without guilt.  When they were at home, no way could I do that.

It was game day and I purchased an Oregon Ducks t-shirt!   They were selling them for one game - one day only.  Had to have it.  smile

You need to also check if your son or daughter has high temperatures. Temperatures occurs anytime our body battles with the disease. And it can be usually a positive indication that there is some kind of infection within the physique. So don't forget, generally if the tonsils are reddish colored and swollen, the tonsils are covered with white spots and the youngster has temperatures then it is certainly impacted with strep throat infection. If for example the strep throat is slight, the fever as a manifestation may not be found.
