    What is your favourite family time/event of the week?

    I've just updated my status to say that I love Friday afternoons. I do the school run, and after an often long week, it is great to finish that off with by picking my daughter up. She comes out with a smiling face, and gives me a hug. We hold hands down to the car, go homeand play! Brilliant!!

    Well, it is the Sunday morning from the time we ready ourselves for church, at the church and the get-togethers, formal and informal at the church

    Our dinner time, when we all sit together and eat our food. After eating, we share our daily happenings,ideas, sorrows and happiness. This is the best time for our family.

    Saturday is my favourite day because I get to sleep in, have a big breakfast when we finally get out of bed, and then plan some family activities for the day.

    Fridays were always my favorite when my kids were young.  Still is.  We usually had movie night and just the promise of the coming weekend made it seem special.  When my youngest daughter was still home, we worked at the same bookstore.  We would get home from work, my husband would have a nice fire in the fireplace and we would watch our favorite shows together on the Scifi channel.

    We all looked forward to it all week.  Now she is married, but I still have a special feeling on Fridays.

    I LOVE being in church with the entire pew filled with my parents, my hubby and I, my daughter and son-in-law, my 6 grandbabies, my son and daughter-in-law, and my youngest son all together, all together singing God's praises!  It warms my heart every Sunday, regardless how many of us are there, but my daughter-in-law is living in TN with her family waiting for my Marine son to return from overseas.  We have 3 more months before he returns, so these moments are VERY special!!  God Bless!
