Family Day. It's a day for the whole family. Whether there's an occasion on that day or not, what is important is that you provide a day for the family to gather together and enjoy the day with them.
In my family, Saturdays and Sundays are usually our Family Day. It is during these days that my husband and I don't have work, so we spend it with our son. Sometimes, we go malling or just ride on a cab and visit our farm. Other times, we go strolling or ride on a motorbike and make a short stop in a drive-thru food chains in our area and enjoy each others company while trying to get our son having a good time with us. But most of the time, we just spend it in our home where we play together inside the bedroom, listening to music and hearing our son sing along, dancing together or telling fairy stories to our son and exchanging ideas and plans with my husband. Its those days the I get to relax and keep my mind away from work that leaves me and my husband wishing the day would never end.
These are the days I always look forward to every week. What about you?? What day of the week do you spend your Family Day with your loved ones??
My finance and I make a habit of spending Wednesday nights together alone. It means the t.v is off as well as the computer! We would play board games or even just sit and talk.
Our family day would be Sunday. We would have Sunday dinner together and all go for a nice long walk.
Nothing beats spending time with your loved ones!
Well, that's good of you to have started early in your relationship to spend quality time with each other and made it a habit. I hope when you start to have a family of your own you would still impart this habit with your future children as well.
As you say, Nothing beats spending time with your loved ones!
It is hard to get the kids together these days. It was easier when they were younger. For instance with my son, he works from 7:00 a.m. to noon, comes home for lunch (my time with him while he's sitting still) and at 1:00 he's off to school and doesn't return until 9:30 p.m. On weekends he feels he has to spend every waking moment with friends.
one of the reasons I chose not to have children is that I didn't want to diminish my relationship with my partner. So every day can be family day for us :-)
well im a stay at home mommy and hubby works over 50 hours so its hard to have any time together..he has the weekends off but prephers to spent his time in bed..if not were out mowing and raking the lawn together..what fun we have
You said he has the weekends off but prefers to spent his time in bed if not you're out mowing and raking the lawn together? Why not take it as a chance to enjoy each other while his in bed or mowing and raking the lawn together? That way you'll have fun together.
I stay away from my family because of my Job. I visit them on some occasion. I really miss them and all my childhood friends.
Every day of the week is family day for me. I spend most of my afternoon with my dad and my son debating on whether my husband is at work or not. If he's not at work at night we all share the rest of the day together, if he is it's just my dad, my son and me. Plus in the morning and afternoon I watch my nephew for my sister. So I'd say I'm a huge family person and pretty much everyday consists on being around them.
I don't have kids but i don't spend alot of time with my man.

Do you give time to your family? The past generations were passing more time with their families than we do. Though we complain our busy life often, but there are a lot of options that make our life ten times easier than theirs, or should I say 10 times more complicated?
