I think this happens to everyone. For me I remind myself of my goals and that I will not reach them if I don't take the needed steps now.
Write or read. Though I normally don't feel like doing anything when I'm depressed. So I'm not doing these as often.
Of late, I pick up my Sudoku book and forget that I have anything else to do. Seems that my brain wakes up after a while.
I totally lounge on my couch and read a book...and I absolutely love it (especially when it's raining outside...love it, love it, love it!).
