At what age does a boy start puberty?

My son is nearing his teenage years. When can I expect him to start puberty, what should I expect, and how do I deal with it?

Talk with him as a friend,..

always chat with him don't leave him alone...
if you leave your son with some bad friend then you will loss your son...
help him to make a good friend circle...

i think every country and every culture will give some effect and would be a factor in the puberty of some teenage.
by the way, at my country Indonesia. the age of puberty getting younger, actually its seem so normal if they start puberty at 14 or 16 years old.
but now, i can see that some boy at elementary school (8-9) by the way they act or talk its show that they have premature puberty, its so painfull too me exactly.
because i cant stand with they activity, its get worst when they start to do something that not allowed or beyond their ages.
    something like:
           1. start smoking, its true they suck that cigarette.
           2. talking dirty, maybe they so confident using hard word or impolite
           3. shout and yelling to the parents
           4. have free access to porn site
           5. drink some liquor
           6. the top worst====> free sex and drugs using

its all true and my answer is answered by reading the news, observe the reality, and shared by some parents.

so, my conclusion is, now the puberty ages of boy never be still. its moving to more younger and younger trough the time.

Good question. The age of puberty is getting lower and lower. Typically humans are supposed to go through puberty at the age of 12-14. However, because of our eating habits, the age is getting lower to about 9-12. The youngest female to ever get pregnant was 5 in South America.
Guys go through a certain list of signs that they are in puberty. They start growing hair in certain places, they get an Adam's apple, their voice becomes deeper, etc. However, the first sign is that his balls will drop. Most teenagers aren't ready for this and actually worry as if their balls would literally fall off their bodies. So you might have to explain that to him a bit. And what he should do to keep his balls in working order. I mean explain everything about what causes low sperm count and what could make him infurtile. You might have to teach him how to shave, how to cover up his smell, comment on his voice, etc. He will be moody. The males in puberty have 20 times the hormones as a normal person while the females only have 7 times the amount. So beware of grumpiness.

Boys can generally start going through puberty anywhere between 11 years upwards. Everyone develops at different times but I'm sure you will realise when it happens as boys tend to start to become a bit more self conscious when they start puberty. The first signs are the obvious ones which will be hair in the private area & under the arms. Their voice will start to deepen & during this process they can become quite embarrassed by it as the pitch of their voice can go quite high sometimes.

The best way to deal with it is to allow them to ask you questions & realise that puberty is a normal part of life & that everyone goes through it. My parents bought me a book in regards to puberty which I found useful but would of understood some things better if I had a mature person to explain some things to me. If you as a parent do not feel comfortable explaining things to your son then maybe see if someone you trust & that your son trusts can help explain things to him.
