How much fat should parents feed growing children?

How much fat should be in a child's diet?  Obviously you don't want your kid eating at Mickey D's everyday, but neither should you make him a vegetarian right?  What is the right amount and will that healthy fat level help him grow UP and not just out?  I wonder what the corelation of fat levels in a diet are to the height one reaches upon hitting adulthood.  Thanks for your input!

Calorie intake depends on age and childs size.  Moderation is always a good idea, regardless of age.  Knowing the age of child(ren) would allow for a better answer.  You family physician can best answer this question.

You should start teaching your children from little to eat the right foods.  Some children have a problem with gaining weight easily.  If you teach them good eating habits, this will help them later in life.  Children today, ear too much fast food.  Not healthy.
