   At the moment, I'd like to have three. I don't really have specific reasons, but I guess I could say I want to give my two kids another sibling and three seems like a number I can handle.

   I have three children. The reason is because I can handle 3 both mentally and financially.  I would love more but I don't think I have the mental capasity to handle more right now. Maybe when mine grow up some I will foster.

   I am of mature age now and do not want to have any kids. But I had only one kid in my life because being from India I did not need anyone to tell me that the population of our country has to come down.

   I have two, both boys. I would like to have one more. Try for that girl one last time, but then that is it!

   We have two, all grown.  In theory I would have loved to have had more, but honestly my personality would only take the two I had.  I enjoyed raising them very much but one more would have upset the apple cart of my sanity.

   I had three but only wanted a boy and a girl. Had two boys right off and no girl. Ten years later, surprise. I got a girl. Enjoyed raising my boys and still raising my girl. I also had two step-children that we had after they turned 15. Their mother could not handle them. That is because she did not put her foot down and make them mind her. They were fine with me after I did not hide behind the couch when they threw their tantrum and I jumped all over them. Their mother hid behind the couch. This group was all I could handle.

   I have four children - I always wanted three, even when pregnant with my first, before I knew that my first two would be boys.  We finally decided that we would have just "one more" and ended up with boy-girl twins! 
   
   They are now ages 9-14 and it is a lot of fun.  Its worked out nicely, as well, because the older two play together and the twins play together.

    I have three children. I would like to have more but the ob said my lining was too thin. We might adopt a child in a couple years to add to our family but still not 100% sure.

    I have one baby girl and would love to have a baby boy after a year from now. I prefer two kids only but if God will bless us with more then I will still be happy.

    Three.  Two sons and a daughter.  They're grown now.
    
    My eldest son was a surprise, but not the way you may be thinking.  He was a baby who showed up in my life and was up for adoption, so I adopted him.  Five years later I had my younger son.  I was completely happy with my "set" of two little, adorable, boys; but I preferred not to just have two children.  When my daughter was then born I just felt as if I couldn't ask for more - two adorable little boys and a little daughter.  I left open the possibility of adopting or maybe having a fourth baby, but that didn't work out.  I was absolutely happy with the three children I had.  I just wasn't entirely sure I may not want one more before calling it quits.  I wanted decent spacing between them all, so I could devote at least three full years to one before even thinking about having another one.  I didn't start all that young, so there wasn't all that much time for both spacing AND a fourth child.    I just would have liked, maybe, for my daughter to have a sister (but since she's grown up she says she's glad she doesn't have a sister after seeing some of her friends with their sisters.  lol  )

    It is a good question that people should put lots of thought into it. I will not bring a human to this world, unless I can totally commit myself,  to give him/her good life, attention and care. In my case it was one.
