It is a matter of when children begin to understand the differences in physical development.  As they grow, they begin to sense an inner need for privacy and parents need to help children to understand this need for separation.

My children stopped at the age of 3 years old. This is when they discover there are difference between them girl and boy.

I say between 3 and 5. If same sex I'd say it could go as long as 5 but if different then closer to 3 or so. My boys stopped when the oldest was 5 and younger son was 3.

I think like the others have stated between the ages 3 and 5, my daughter is 4 1/2 and my son is three...and my daughter has started noticing the difference..I was just having this discussion with my family the other night...I am going to start bathing them separately...

Both my children age gap are too big.... 12 years gap! So, I don't have any problem with that! My 5 year old toddler still wants me to give him a bath...
