Who would you choose - given the choice? I mean, no issues as to healthy, etc. - just if you could coose, would it be son or daughter?

If you are talking about adoption it would not matter to me , we have a son that we adopted so son or daughter does not make a difference when you have been blessed with a child to love. smile

I have five boys already, so I rather have a girl, were there to be an addition to our household.

Well, when I was pregnant I aspired for a little girl, and dress her up in all those cute and lacy dresses with ribbons I saw at stores. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be and I have an adorable little boy whom I love and adore. I certainly wouldn't change him for the world.

I have both and really couldn't give any preference.  My first son was an adorable little guy, and I loved him dressing him in nice clothes for little boys.  When I had my younger son he was just as adorable a sweetie as the older one, and I had a little "set" of two adorable little boys.  Then I had my beautiful little daughter, and she was every bit as sweet as her brothers.  I've just always seen all three as "little human beings first".

I have 2 sons who I love dearly and would die for in a heartbeat, but I'm sure sometime in the future I will wish I had  had a daughter.

I don't mind if I have a son or a daughter just as long as I have one. I still don't have either. smile

You can always depend on daughters than sons after they get married for support of any kind.

Always a tough question, if you pick one over the other it almost feels like you would have preferred one over the other. Truth is, they are both great in different ways. Lucky me, I have one of each smile
