When you learn the answer to this one let me know! I am mesmerized with how my grandson is all boy. From a young age he was offered a wide variety of choices in movies, toys, etc. I even bought him a kitchen play set when he was two. However, he started choosing very early on, he talked early and has a great imagination so for him it was playing with cars and trucks and making all kinds of sound effects. He is now almost four and still enjoys playing restaurant with his kitchen set, but is happier with his dump trucks and super hero movies. Great question, though I don't think it's necessarily a gender specific question, I think it could also apply to adults as well. I think we are just wired to enjoy whatever we as individuals are interested in.
