   In the West, the big change has been that the majority of mothers now work outside of the home, so childcare by someone other than the mother is now common.
   Stephan Molynaux thinks this is why Millenials, the first generation raised almost entirely in daycare, expect teachers to care for them, make them feel safe, and couch every demand within the context of "I'm afraid, fix it". His opinion is that the relative lack of time with dedicated parents, constant turnover of daycare workers and forced interaction with many other children has left them with a permanent anxiety about life. They never had a proper parental attachment so seek and demand that love and caring, safety and protection from every authority figure (including inappropriately).
