      Hi Indian Chef,

This is a much different version of how we bake our onions, but am sure it is delicious. I like the drizzled balsamic vinegar over it. Will have to give that a try. In the past we have simply baked our peeled onions, cored and with a dab of butter, salt and pepper...wrapped in aluminum foil in a 35o degrees Fahrenheit oven for 45 minutes to an hour. Also works well on the grill by doing the same thing.

We also like to oven roast our onions along with other veggies. I have written a hub showing Oven Roasted Vegetables and onions are always a part of it.

Onions are good for one to eat. Love eating the sweet varieties you mentioned. 5 stars and up, useful and interesting votes.
