Egg on the boat-quick breakfast
ingrediants
i was tired eating cornflakes and oat meals for breakfast...wanted to try something which was easy yet yummy to eat and being a 'non cook' had to start with something easy. One day i cae over a picture of a 'cute 'breakfast on my friend's Face book Status.(food should always be presentable!!!)I tried this and somehow it turned out to be good(on the second time!i had put 1 spoon of salt on egg for the first time).I tried this recipe in India and it was a big hit with the kids. so here is one easy recipe.
Serving 1
egg -1
bread-1
butter/oil-as per your choice,i use half teaspoon of I cant believe its not butter(In this i generously use butter without thinking of health issues)
radish, parsley,coriander for garnishing
tomato sauce-if required
salt-as per taste
pepper-as per taste
This recipe was taught to me by my friend Deepy, its a simple way of brightening up one mood in the morning with a smiley which you can eat!!!
- take a pan
- heat oil/butter
- take a cup/bowl(anything to make a circle in the bread) and cut the bread
- let the butter melt ,put the bread in the pan,the cut portion too
- cook both sides till brown
- now in the hole which you made in the bread crack an egg
- heat till the bottom of egg is cooked
- once done, switch off the gas
- put salt and pepper on the york
- decorate...and serve with a smile.
sometimes i toast the bread on toaster,it saves time and my energy!!!!
