Asian Whole Chicken Soup Recipes.
Full Chicken Soup
1. Chicken: 1 full not cut in to pieces.
2. Ham: 100 grams Chopped.
3. Mushrooms: 5 dried soaked in warm water for 30 minutes.
4. Pork: 250 grams
5. Cabbage: 300 grams.
6. Bamboo Shoots: 100 grams
7. Scallions: 1 Tbsp
8. Ginger: 8 small slices
9. Rice Wine : 2 Tsp
10. Water: 3 liters
11. Salt: 2 Tsp
For dipping sauce:
1. Light Soy Sauce: 2 Tbsp
2. Sesame Oil: ¼ Tsp
3. Scallions: 2 Tsp finely chopped.

1. To make dipping sauce, combine all the three ingredients in a small bowl and keep aside for 30 minutes.
2. Boil water in a pan and blanch the ham in it for half a minute.
3. Now remove any fat that floats on boiling water.
4. Remove ham.
5. Now take the dried mushrooms which were soaked in warm water, take them out of water.
6. Squeeze any water left in them.
7. Finely slice the mushrooms and also finely chop the bamboo shoots (fresh or canned). Boil bamboo shoots for 30 minutes first if you are using fresh.
8. Now take the whole chicken and stuff it with ginger and scallion.
9. Take a casserole and put chicken and all ingredients (except cabbage and dipping sauce) including water in it.
10. Bring it to boil and let it simmer for about 1 hour.
11. Now add cabbage in to it and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
12. Now remove the skin from chicken and cut it into pieces
13. Now take soup bowls and add pieces of chicken in it.
14. Now put vegetables, ham and pork in all soup bowls.
15. Pour soup on top.
16. Serve with dipping sauce
