What would your last meal be if you were on death row?

....say you were convicted of a crime and were going to be executed by lethal injection.  What would your last meal consist of?

For me, since I'm lactose intolerant, and that I'll be dying soon to feel the negative effects, my meal would consist of the following items:

    1. A piece of lasagne
    2. A slice of pepperoni pizza
    3. Baskin & Robbin's Pralines 'N Cream ice cream
    4. A Nacho Cheese Doritos chip
    5. Couple pieces of prime rib
    6. Some tater tots
    7. Bacon slices
    8. Peanut butter on toast

Yes, not all match, but hey, I'll be dying soon!

Probably an all you can eat buffet. Then I would eat very slowly because after all, I would be getting executed shortly.

Food would be the last thing on my mind if I am going to be executed soon. I would probably be praying to God to forgive me for all my sins.

It would have to be fried scallops in garlic butter followed by a huge fillet steak, with all the trimmings; deep fried onion rings; coleslaw; french fries; buttered corn on the cob and pepper sauce. For dessert it would be a huge mountain of profiteroles with butter cream and chocloate sauce. To help wash it all down; a bottle of Bollinger followed by a large cognac vsop and a cuban cigar. Yeah, that would do it smile

Everything...from a BUFFET!!!  Imagine that...you can keep going back for more...making your last supper really last, giving you just a little more time before saying goodbye.

I would probably choose a menu item which is now an endangered species, (like myself) like grilled swordfish... mmmm with a twist of lemon, fresh ground pepper and green salad with endive.  Garlic bread - because who cares what my breath smells like.  For dessert - strong coffee with Baked Alaska.

This reminds me of the Three Stooges when they were asked  "How do you want to die?".  Food related as well, Curly Joe answered, "Better a hot steak than a cold chop."

If I were to be on death row and could request any food, I would ask for...

    1.  Sushi
    2.  A Chicken Taco Salad
    3.  Indian Naan with Thai Curry...mixing two ethnic foods, I know...
    4.  Chinese rice porridge (jok) with fried dough strips
    5.  My mom's chocolate cake

I'd choose a fabulous seafood platter, washed down with a good Sancerre.  And in France, you might just get that sort of thing on death row, they're sensitive like that!

I really don't think I would have an appetite in that situation !! But if I had to then....for starters scallops in some yummy sauce then a reindeer main (bambi is delicious) and then steamed dumplings (love them!), all the candy I could eat (including liquorice!!) and the best vintage champagne.

Oh man, if were on death row I don't think I could eat anything. I'd be a nervous wreck and totally freaked out so food would be the last thing on my mind! Maybe some chamomile tea to soothe my nerves?

I'm not sure if I actually could decide if that time were to come. I have a hard enough time trying to decide what's for dinner each night... I like too many good foods!

I don't ever plan on ever being on death row however if I ever do make it there you can bet you bottom dollar I will have everything I ever enjoyed in front of me and you can also be assured that it will not be cheap. There would be some prime rib, lobster, all i can eat crab legs, shrimp, scallops, and fish, homemade hamburgers made up the right way, even some Papa John's Pizza. Its be all I can eat for sure

    Shrimp cocktail

    Prime rib

    mashed potatoes w/ gravy

fresh warm dinner rolls with butter

apple pie with vanilla ice cream

I'd forgo a proper wine selection and instead choose several glass bottles of coca cola chilled in ice

If I could muster a perfect appetite, I would want a bottle of Pinot Noir, a crisp green salad w/ jumbo shrimp and avocado in a balsamic vinegarette, the outside cut of a prime rib roast w/  a side of creamed horseradish, garlic mashed potatoes, yorkshire pudding, a baked tomato, and creamed spinach. Dessert would be an apple cobbler with a thick slice of Tillamook cheddar cheese, followed by a vintage port and dark chocolate truffles. Of course, I would want to take my time!
