What do you think goes best with chocolate - mint, caramel, peanut butter, or something else? I love chocolate and peanut butter - Reese's Pieces are my favorite candy.
I would have to agree with you and say chocolate and peanut butter. I mean come on it's the perfect combination of sweet and salty! I do favor York Patties also but most definitely not as much as I enjoy Reese's. I like the mini cup sizes. Contradictory to what I said above, Twix is my favorite kind of candy.
As much as I like the peanut butter and chocolate combo, I am the one that eats the chocolate covered caramels first out of a box of chocolates. Chocolate covered marshmallows are also a favorite..!!
I like to pair chocolate with either a sharp cheese or tequila. For some strange reason I have never liked pairing mint with chocolate. I do like peanut butter and caramel and chocolate together; but, as much as the first two items I mentioned .
Gosh I love them all together... MMMMM I think I will go to the store...lol
I think mint offers a balance that caramel and peanut butter doesn't.
I take my chocolate straight. And it's got to be dark chocolate at that.

Reeses Peanut Butter with dark chocolate is really good, I think better than the milk chocolate and peanut butter. But my favorite is chocolate covered blueberries or acai berries.
I love all three paired with chocolate but what about liqueurs oops, my bad
Caramel. Definitely caramel. And it also goes well with vanilla, cinnamon, butter pecan ice cream, strawberry parfait, ..... oh. We were talking about chocolate. But caramel is sooooo bad!
Orange, but not sure about how good that might be with peanut butter.
The best pairing for chocolate can be caramel but definitely peanut butter doesn’t stop chasing these two
