For starters you need to have a fat free diet, it is the fat in your diet that causes the pain.
There are no set rules as to what you will be able to eat and what not to eat, you will have to experiment.
But NO FAT, or you will suffer !
Merlin is absolutely correct. I used to have gallstones and before having my gall bladder removed I was on a completely fat free diet. Any fats caused terrible pain and so I was not adverse to cutting them out!
