    I love BBQ food but my family favourite is Claridge's chicken pie; which is a Gordon Ramsey recipe. Chicken pieces and shallots poached in chicken stock, pancetta and baby mushrooms fried in butter, all brought together in a sherry and cream sauce, and topped with an individually cooked puff pastry crust. I serve this with baby vegetables.

    Nothing fancy here, it is a toss up between burgers or steaks cooked on the grill.  Not the best thing for you but the whole family loves them.

    Gumbo with a homemade loaf of French Bread, a true Creole tradition. Maybe a buttermilk coconut  pie for dessert!
