    A truffle is the fruiting body of an underground mushroom. They are actually classified close to trees believe it or not. There are white and black truffles. The black truffles are used in cooking more often than the white.Truffles are hard to find, and you can't really create a farm for them. They grow out in the wild and have to be harvested by hand.
