    Broccoli should be eaten raw or steamed?

    Which one would be better to get more of the nutritious content in broccoli?

    The less processes and cooked, the better. Steaming is definitely a lot healthier than other things you could do (cooking it in butter, etc.), but the only way to get all the nutrients is to eat it raw.

    I like it steamed and am willing to sacrifice a nutrient or two so that I don't have to eat it raw.  It isn't bad raw but still.........

    The more it is cooked, the more nutrients are lost.  It is best to eat it raw, but if you have to steam it, do so only a little bit.  It is best to let it firm, not mushy!

    steamed with a spray of lemon juice or a splash of balsamic is really good.
